"The End of the World/Beginning on Grand
Thanks, Ian Adam Bull, our photographer and videographer friend who filmed and photographed us in Prague. He unearthed a video he shot of me introducing New York Junk with a poem, "End of the World," during a visit he made to NYC.

Tall skinny

It’s not the
East Village, it’s the Lower East Side

Where my
father was born, where my grandmother died
She was
coming up the steps on East Broadway
Never made it
to the top, I pass it every day
My kids can’t
live where they used to play
The old
disappeared and the new have their way
Cause it’s
the end of the world

My father was born on Avenue C
I always lived east of the DMZ
Copped my dime bags on the Mighty D
And Avenue B was the place to be
Now Avenue B was the place to be
