Poem #2 Romeo's Poem

ROMEO’S POEM

remember
we are nothing

more

nothing more than visitors

eyes meet
softly
in the big chair

learn the word for mommy

just a bunch of letters

love is your finger
wrapped around my rings

you still don’t know
where you end
and space begins

soon,
you will smile
across your shoulder

and race through
the world

  1. You read my heart effortlessly, then you write a poem. I love you.
